Newborn photos are "best" captured in the first two weeks of babies life, and in the first 48 hours for my fresh 48 sessions. The younger the baby - the more likely they will still be quite sleepy and settled for your session. However this session can be done at any age - The age may vary the way we can wrap and pose bub.

When booking your newborn session, I will book you on your due date - once your little one has arrived let me know and we will set a date for your session once you are feeling well and up to it. If you have a planned c section or induction date, or prefer securing a set date, we can definitely do this too. I am very flexible when it comes to newborn sessions, this is why I can only take on a set amount each month.

Due to this - I recommend booking in asap to secure a date as I am currently booking into mid 2022.

Newborn sessions run for approx. 1.5 - 2 hours - this gives time to feed and settle Bub, as well as not be rushed to capture those special images. I run my sessions with how your little ones are settled so each session does look a little bit different.

I also know how vulnerable newborns are - I will always reschedule our session if I myself or anyone in my household is unwell. I am also up to date with my whooping cough and flu vaccinations. If you have any questions prior to our session, please never hesitate to ask.
